Tami received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Washington in 1997 and her Master’s in Speech Pathology from Washington State University in 2000. Tami has worked in pediatric and adult hospitals with both inpatient and outpatient clients with a specific focus on children on the autism spectrum; language disorders and effects on behavior in children with behavioral/emotional diagnoses; traumatic brain injury in both children and adults; early language development; and literacy. Some of Tami’s recent formal training includes: Wilson Reading System ®, advanced training in Wired for Reading ®, Level I PROMPT ®, and administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule. Tami has frequently been asked to speak to parent groups about early child language development and stimulation. She is nationally certified by ASHA, licensed to practice in the state of Washington and holds a provisional ESA certificate for the Washington public schools.
